Your Privacy Matters in The Shop

Shopping on the Porch should feel comfortable, and that includes knowing what happens with your information. This Shop Privacy page is the Privacy Policy for The Shop at Tracy's Pink Porch. It explains what information may be collected when you browse The Shop, create an account, place an order or otherwise interact with us, how that information may be used, and the choices you may have.

The Shop is located at shop.tracyspinkporch.com and is part of Tracy's Pink Porch. Because shopping, customer accounts, orders, payments, shipping, returns and optional marketing preferences involve additional information, The Shop has this separate Privacy Policy.

What You Share With The Shop

Depending on how you use The Shop, you may voluntarily provide information such as:

What The Shop May Learn Automatically

Payments on the Porch

The Shop offers several payment methods. Depending on the payment method you choose, payment information may be processed by a third-party payment provider or handled through manual payment instructions.

PayPal and supported payment options: The Shop uses a PayPal checkout integration that may make PayPal, card, digital-wallet or other supported payment options available. Payment credentials are processed through the applicable payment provider. The Shop does not intentionally store full payment-card numbers in its ordinary customer or order records.

Venmo and Cash App: The Shop may provide manual payment instructions for Venmo or Cash App. These payments are completed outside of OpenCart using the payment information provided at checkout. Venmo and Cash App are separate services with their own privacy practices and terms.

Other manual payment methods: If you select a payment method such as check, money order or cash on delivery, information necessary to record and manage the order may be retained in The Shop, but payment is handled according to the instructions provided for that method.

Third-party payment providers may collect and process additional information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Order & Account Communications

When you create an account, place an order or request assistance, The Shop may send emails or other communications that are necessary to provide the service you requested. These may include:

Order confirmations and updates
Account-related notices
Password-reset messages
Return or refund communications
Customer-service responses
Other messages directly related to your account, order or request

These operational or transactional messages are separate from optional newsletter or marketing communications.

Staying Connected

The Shop offers an optional newsletter preference for customers who would like to receive Tracy's Pink Porch news, updates, special offers and other occasional messages from the Porch.

Shopping, creating an account or placing an order does not automatically enroll you in marketing emails. Newsletter participation is optional.

If you choose to subscribe, your email address and subscription preference may be used to send those communications. Registered customers may change their newsletter preference through their account when that option is available.

You may also ask Tracy's Pink Porch to stop sending marketing email at any time. Transactional or account-related messages may still be sent when necessary to provide services you have requested.

Texting the Porch

Tracy's Pink Porch publishes a business telephone number so customers and visitors may voluntarily call or initiate a text conversation.

If you initiate a text conversation with Tracy's Pink Porch, your mobile number and the information contained in your message may be used to respond to your inquiry, order question, customer-service matter or other conversation you initiated.

Tracy's Pink Porch does not currently operate a recurring SMS marketing or promotional text-message program. Initiating a text conversation or providing your telephone number for an order or account does not enroll you in recurring marketing text messages.

Mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be disclosed to service providers when reasonably necessary to provide, transmit, support or maintain communications, or when disclosure is required by law.

If Tracy's Pink Porch offers a recurring SMS marketing program in the future, applicable consent and program-specific disclosures will be provided at the time of enrollment.

Cookies & Shop Technology

The Shop may use cookies, session information or similar technologies that are necessary for normal ecommerce functions such as maintaining a shopping cart, remembering account sessions, completing checkout, operating payment features, protecting the website and supporting store functionality.

The Shop does not currently use an installed OpenCart analytics extension for its own advertising or marketing tracking. However, third-party services used in connection with payment processing, security or other store functions may use their own cookies or similar technologies according to their privacy practices.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, although doing so may prevent certain shopping, account or checkout features from working properly.

When Information Is Shared

Tracy's Pink Porch does not sell personal information.

Information may be shared when reasonably necessary with service providers that help operate The Shop, such as providers involved with:

How Long We Keep Information

Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, fulfill and document orders, maintain customer accounts, handle returns or refunds, respond to customer-service matters, maintain appropriate business records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, enforce agreements or satisfy applicable legal, tax, accounting or regulatory requirements.

Some records associated with completed transactions may need to be retained even if you request deletion of other information.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding personal information associated with you, including the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of certain information.

Registered customers may be able to review or update certain account information directly through their Shop account.
